Dear Citizens of Madera County:
Keep the trust, Keep the peace - D. A. Linn 2018.
I've been proud to lead Madera County's District Attorney's Office as your District Attorney.
I have nearly 40 years' experience practicing law and served our great nation as a Commander in the United States Navy and a decorated combat veteran . I have a law degree from Pepperdine University, MBA from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and BS from Purdue University.
As District Attorney, I have worked with law enforcement to restore our partnership, improving working conditions for current prosecutors, ensuring adequate training is provided, hiring seasoned prosecutors, establishing the Agriculture Crimes prosecutor, reorganize the office, improved budget and office management, and put hardened criminals in jail and off our streets.
I treat the prosecutors, investigators, and staff of the office with the dignity, professionalism, and respect that they deserve. Since being given the opportunity to serve Madera County, I have commenced a complete systematic review of policies and procedures with the entire staff of the District Attorney's Office. We have worked to reorganize, streamline, and enhance the technology available to our office. I have worked with our government leaders to increase the budget to fully staff the office as much as possible. I have an open door policy with my prosecutors, staff, investigators, law enforcement, and more importantly, you, the Citizens of Madera County.
I love the courtroom and carry a caseload myself, to ease the burden on the prosecutors.
I have been honored and humbled to have had the opportunity earn your vote in the last election and ask again for your support.
